Cancellation Policy for Dublin School of Music
At Dublin School of Music, we are committed to providing our students with the highest quality of music education. In order to maintain this commitment, we have established the following cancellation policy, which balances the needs of our students, tutors, and the school.
No Make-up Lessons for Student Cancellations: Dublin School of Music is unable to provide make-up lessons for classes cancelled by the student. Our tutors are contracted for a specific time, and we cannot impose additional financial burdens on the School by rescheduling cancelled classes. We kindly ask that you ensure your agreed lesson schedule allows for your consistent attendance.
Payment of Fees: Timely payment of fees is essential for the smooth operation of our school. Failure to pay fees as agreed upon will result in suspension of classes until the balance has been paid. We regret that we cannot accommodate weekly payments.
Teacher Absences: In the rare event that a tutor must cancel a class due to illness, personal emergency, or public performance, Dublin School of Music will make every effort to arrange a suitable substitute teacher. If this is not possible, the lesson will be rescheduled before the term ends. If a mutually agreeable time cannot be found for the rescheduled class, a full refund for that class will be provided at the end of the term. Please note that an agreed rescheduled class missed by the student will be considered as having taken place and will not be rescheduled or credited.
Communication: We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we are committed to working with you to find a solution. If you encounter any issues regarding cancellations or scheduling, please discuss them with Dublin School of Music administration rather than your tutor.
By adhering to these guidelines, we can ensure a fair and consistent experience for all students, tutors, and staff at Dublin School of Music. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
