Guitar Lessons All Levels
The guitar is one of the most popular instruments the world over. It is versatile, as it can play melody and rhythm, so it is often a choice for modern rock, folk, or indie bands. With just one instrument you can have a band!
With its unique voice and rich timbre, the guitar, in the hands of a creative mind, has unlimited possibilities.
The guitar is a hugely popular instrument, not least because it is a very individualistic instrument. An instrument that can be played in many different ways and reveals the personality of the person playing it. Yet one of the most attractive features of the guitar is that it is in a world of its own when combined with singing and other solo instruments.
Having the lead guitarist play the melody is most common in instrumental music. Often, the guitar will be accompanied by a secondary lead instrument – such as a keyboard or saxophone – that also plays the melody. If there is a singer, the lead guitarist may play the melody during the intro and outro of a song.
Exams are available (but by no means compulsory) for both acoustic and electric guitar players. We usually use the Sounds Great or RGT exam boards, but alternatives are available.
We have a continuous enrolment as all lessons are one-to-one, which means you can start whenever you like. Normally we enrol by the term or for a year, but the fees are based on a 10 lesson course over 10 consecutive weeks costing €275. Or why not try a three lesson "taster course" at just €90? (If you decide to continue after your three lesson taster, the €90 will be deducted from the full fees).
